Going the distance
There are many things to golf that make the game. Some people say that is it the smell in the air with the fresh cut grass and the morning dew on the grass. Others say it is the feeling you get when you hit the ball and watch it fade into the distance, closer to the flag. Some people just like to see how far they can hit the ball. If you think about just hitting the ball, there is more that goes into it because you have the power and the angle of where the ball is going to land. Others are just testing out clubs to see which one would drive the ball the furthest. When you are testing the clubs, there are some things that you can change on the club in order to get the ball to go further in the fairway.
One thing that you can change is the head of the club because it can affect how the ball spins when it is hit. Spinning the ball down the fairway can increase your yardage and get you to the hole with less swings. This is great news for any golfer. Changing the head and the grip on the head can greatly affect how the ball is going to act when it is hit.
Another thing that can be change is the shaft of the golf club itself. If you have a metal shaft, that does not allow a lot of play as far as the way it bends. If you are trying to get more distance out of your swing, which is going to go further; something that is going to bend when force is added or something that does not bend. Changing the metal shaft to a graphite shaft will give you the flexibility that can send the ball the distance. When you come down with your swing the graphite shaft will bend, giving you some added power when you hit the ball.
You can also get a lighter ball to make it go further down the fairway. Combine all of these tips and soon you will be driving the ball further, allowing you to get a better score on the course. Now all you need is a golf cart and you’re all set.
