The India-South Africa will meet for one last match at Ahmedabad on Saturday. The 3-match series has already gone in favor of India with India leading the series 2-0. But anyone who watched the second ODI in live or in TV will not easily forget the match for the cricket God Sachin Tendulkar has treated millions of cricket lovers a corneal feast of a lifetime. He had another record in his name- a double ton in one day match. The match also speaks volumes of this cricket veterans fitness. 4 hours at crease with an enthusiasm to run for second run at the smallest of the chance is a special trait of a champion cricketer; probably there will not be another one like Sachin.

South Africa though had a tough luck in the second match when Sachin made a vast difference and they started their innings with pressure which led to no focus loose shots from their top order batsmen. There was no meaningful partnership and even though Ab De Villiers lasted through the end, they have to finish the losing side.

India won the 1st ODI on the last ball and there was no big contribution from any player but useful play from the entire team. But main worry is India’s bowling as only Jadeja got some respect.

South Africa without Graem Smith is looking weak in batting and middle order is totally out of form including Duminy, deVilliers except kallis. Parnell and Steyn batted well in the 1st ODI and took the match to last ball.

The pitch at Jaipur is expected to be a batting pitch providing great help to the openers early in the match as the ball will come onto the bat. For India Gambhir will not play the match along with Yuvraj Singh who is injured. Yusuf Pathan is expected to make a comeback in the team. Fast bowler Sreesanth is expected to be back in the match too.

For South Africa captain Graeme Smith is ruled out due to injury. Jacques Kallis will lead the team for whole series. Though a batting pitch, you can expect great pace bowling from the Steyn, Morkel and Parnell. Batsmen like Kallis and Amla are too in great form.

The stage is all set for the India Vs South Africa 2010 series. South Africa will play 2 tests and 3 One day internationals (ODI) during their India Tour in February – March 2010. The series would be a thriller with both the top teams fighting for supremacy in the ICC World Test Ranking. India will play to defend its number one test team title against the might South Africans.

The bad news for India is that Yuvraj Sing, Rahul Dravid and Sreesanth would not be playing the 1st test match which stats on February 6 at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Groud in Nagpur. South Africa will be playing a practice match on February 2.
